# MailDignity

> MailDignity is a dignity filter for AI-written outbound and cold emails. It checks an email before it is sent and returns PASS, REVIEW or FAIL, with the exact problem lines and respectful rewrites.

MailDignity catches bot flattery, high-friction asks (like fixed meeting slots sent to strangers), privacy-intrusive personalization, unsolicited audits and pushy AI copy that hurt replies, reputation and sender domains. It works as a safety layer between an LLM (GPT, Claude) and a sending tool (Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist).

- Verdicts: PASS (send as is), REVIEW (contextual friction, rewrite suggested), FAIL (needs a human fix).
- Every flagged issue quotes the original snippet verbatim and proposes a rewrite that keeps the sender's facts and tone; the API also returns a full `repaired_body`.
- Email text is not stored.
- Access: REST API (`POST /api/public/v1/check` with a Bearer API key), remote MCP server with OAuth (single tool `check_email`, works in ChatGPT and Claude), Gmail extension for Chrome, Outlook add-in, and no-code integrations (Clay, Zapier, Make, n8n).
- Pricing: 7-day trial with 50 checks, then monthly plans from $9 (500 checks) to $599 (500,000 checks); yearly billing is two months free.
